In two years he investigated 200 corruption cases.

Rs 3,750 crore irregularity in campus expansion. Fake medicines being sold inside hospital premises. Corrupt officials at every level.

CBI cases were registered against senior bureaucrats.

In August 2014 he was transferred out of AIIMS.

The health minister who transferred him later became party president of the ruling party.

In 2015 he won the Ramon Magsaysay Award.

He donated the entire prize money to AIIMS for treatment of poor patients.

AIIMS returned his cheque.

He has been in non-field postings for 9 years since then.

16 judges have recused themselves from hearing his cases.

No government in India wants him posted in their state.

Lost Minor Girl Offered a Room for the Night... Guest House Owner and Two Others Gang-Raped Her

A 16 y/o girl from Varanasi, who had come to Kanpur to meet a relative, got lost.

Predator Padam Tripathi (Owner of Guest House) lured her into a guest house on the pretext of shelter for overnight.

He and two associates... Nihal Singh and Billu... allegedly gang-raped her overnight. All three accused have since been arrested.

Photos of the accused posing with local BJP MLA Abhijit Singh Sanga have gone viral, though the MLA clarified that anyone can take a photo with him and that police should punish the guilty.

I travelled to Madhubani, Bihar to report on the brutal killing of Roshan Khatoon and what I found is deeply disturbing.

On 25 February 2026, during the month of Ramadan, Roshan Khatoon was tied to a pole and mercilessly beaten by more than 20 people, including men and women, while she was fasting, after she went to the village head’s house to resolve a dispute.

Her family says that when she asked for water, she was instead forced to drink a mixture of alcohol and urine, an act they describe as deliberate humiliation because she was a Muslim woman.

She succumbed to her injuries on 1 March.

What followed raises even more serious questions.

Instead of immediately ensuring medical care and justice, police allegedly took Roshan Khatoon and her husband to the Police station while she was critically injured and demanded ₹50,000 for their release. The family says they were eventually released after 5–6 hours after paying ₹4,000.

Nineteen people have been named in the FIR. Yet, nearly a month later, only one arrest has been made.

Her family alleges that the accused are being shielded due to political backing from BJP and JDU leaders. Meanwhile, even after weeks, the postmortem report has still not been released.

A woman was lynched, humiliated in the most inhuman way, and a month later, justice remains nowhere in sight.
