“Hello Treasure Makers! This is Junkyu.

I’ve spent a long time thinking about how to begin this letter, but I decided to pick up my pen in the hope that my sincere feelings will reach you.

It has already been six years since I debuted in 2020 and have begun this journey with Treasure Makers.
During that time, I’ve received so much love, and every single moment has felt like a miracle. I’ve truly been happy.

However, as I kept running forward and giving it my all, I think there came a point where I slowly started overlooking the signals from my heart and my body.

I always wanted to show you only my best as a professional, so I kept trying to act like I was okay, but I have come to realize that the time has come for me to pause for awhile and take care of myself.

After discussing this thoroughly with the company, I have decided to temporarily suspend my activities for the time being and take some time to rest.

I’m so sorry for suddenly bringing this news and causing worry to our Treasure Makers, who have always been my strongest source of support.

But I believe this pause is necessary for me to come back healthier and stronger. I’ll take this time to rest well, gather my thoughts, and return as my whole true self.

Halo, Ini YG ENTERTAINMENT

Kami ingin memberitahukan bahwa anggota Treasure KIM JUNKYU akan rehat untuk sementara waktu.

Treasure telah menyelesaikan masa promosi untuk mini album mereka minggu lalu.

Meskipun mengalami kondisi kesehatan yang kurang, JUNKYU telah menjalankan aktivitas grup dengan upaya terbaiknya. Tetapi, berdasarkan pertimbangan artis dan juga orang-orang di sekitarnya bahwa ia memerlukan fokus yang stabil dan juga waktu untuk istirahat, telah diputuskan bahwa ia akan menghentikan aktivitasnya sementara waktu untuk beristirahat.

Dengan demikian, untuk saat ini JUNKYU tidak akan bisa berpartisipasi dalam kegiatan Treasure yang mendatang, dan ia juga tidak akan bisa berpartisipasi dalam syuting P/V untuk B-side track ‘DANGER’ yang sudah dijadwalkan dalam waktu dekat.

Kami mohon pengertiannya dari para fans.
Para member dan agensi akan saling sepaham untuk mendukung dan mendorong JUNKYU untuk kembali pulih dan stabil melalui istirahat yang cukup serta kembali dengan kondisi yang sehat secepatnya.

We know that reading YG’s official statements can be deeply triggering for many of us due to past experiences. Trauma itu nyata, dan wajar banget kalau kita sempat kaget atau takut.
