The only “intervention” between then and 9/11 was the Balkans (and at the same time the U.S. was faulted for not intervening in Rwanda). @bethanyshondark Loving learning is everything. For me it came at 16. For some it comes earlier; others later. Education needs to be about teaching a love of learning. I spend my Friday afternoons just reading (on issues related to my field) because I love it. My colleagues think I’m annoying.
