@blanem2 @BenGoessling I’d argue he doesn’t say much to the media at all. He says a lot of words that often don’t add up to much substance. He’s very good at that, as are many coaches. If you’re looking for KOC to clear things up and be direct with the media, you’re not going to get that.

The matchup adds support across multiple angles. New Orleans ranks bottom-third in defensive rating (#26) and allows strong production to opposing bigs, sitting #25 in rebounds allowed, and #28 vs position at suppressing Points + Rebounds.

They also struggle defending pick-and-roll roll men and spot-up bigs - two areas where Turner gets a large share of his scoring looks. Pace sits around league average, keeping possession volume stable.

With added frontcourt responsibility and a defense that gives up both boards and interior scoring, Turner has multiple clean paths to clear 21.5 PR without needing a ceiling performance.

So if the house hold is 10%, which of course it varies but that’s a reasonable estimation, a 26% increase in their hold would bring it to 12.6%. I think some are thinking a 26% overall hold increase, which as you pointed out isn’t even legal.
