@KingWabi@Breedlove22 Bitcoin is a network of decentralised computers. Not sure how the Bitcoin network is impacted by ETFs and Mstr. Biggest threat to Bitcoin is miner centralisation and core client infiltration .
@RennickGBR There is a difference between using the visa network and doing a FX txn. The visa network is what charges the fee. Banks shouldnt charge fees for FX txns, but banks have the worst spreads. I highly doubt ANY Indian is using their FX services.
A follow up, when I refer to bitcoin(sha256) this doesn’t indicate that I think bitcoin should continue to use sha256. I just prefer that when the network is modified to a new algorithm, it’s via a bip with majority user signally proving the network is in control by vigilant participants
Why does this not continue to apply to Bitcoin? I 💯 agree with you. But I believe the only battle ground for this is on Bitcoin (sha256). And before the recent bip110 fiasco, I thought we were we gaining ground back from the grifters. Yourself, mechanic, Luke, hodlnaut were generals in the fight back, but have now essentially moved off the battle field. Big Bitcoin didn’t capture Bitcoin with a single bip overnight, they slowly wormed in like grimma while people like yourself were not yet aware in order to highlight their convert malicious behavior. Perhaps if there was no bip 110 and fork, knots would be at 30/40% adoption, ocean at 10-20%, on its way to recapturing from big bitcoin. I appreciate yours and every other non captured voice in this space. I continue to run knots and be one of the vigilante users and I hope more users will naturally wise up. I don’t see how Blake bitcoin has any different future to bitcoins capture if it proves successful
They’re not bitcoiners. They’re just dodgy entrepreneurs using the Bitcoin and crypto as their latest grifting space. Importantly it highlights the weaknesses of Bitcoin if it can be infiltrated so easily. Same behaviour can happen to Bitcoin Blake. The majority of users must protect the network or it gets corrupted
@shellenberger@AnikaWells@elonmusk@PaulineHansonOz You know that the government is paying (bribing) most of the Australian media and journalists? Around 67 million of tax payer money dished out to them for their wages
@tridder46290@drakefjustin Satoshi's wallets are guaranteed to be drained in future, either by white hats or black hats. There is 1000s of stranded bitcoin that will get moved back into circulation. That doesnt mean Bitcoin is broken.
@AlboMP They on charge tosser. I know of several establishments that have already notified of price increases due to this a similar government caused pressures. It’s not bad enough that You haven’t changed a thing, you make things so much worse.
