@Halima_Diida The Kenyan authorities must take responsibility and act. There needs to be stronger regulation and oversight of schools. The current lack of regulation is unacceptable.
@MohamedASalad Trust me, I’m from Norway. Sadly, the only thing she’s known for is religion. Somali people aren’t known for our culture or humanity—just an obsession with religion.
@jones_skyl59532@LRHN_Cash I would’ve called the police immediately and reported it. This could’ve been dangerous. Why was she inside someone else’s car? What if she was trying to steal it—or hiding in it? I’d want the case fully investigated.
@AbdulahiHaybe12 Why do the clothes look so unattractive? Couldn’t they really find something that suited them better? What is it about these colors and the style of the clothing? It looks like something from the 1900s.
@AliYusu98404515@Ayub88888@WazSavy@OgadenSoldier Yeah, I’m Somali, but the Somali women I know dress like this. They’re not extreme — they’re usually very well integrated and assimilated while still keeping parts of their culture.”
@styIysh I’m gay myself and my family accepts me, but I still can’t understand this. Where were this 18-year-old’s parents, family, or support system? Or is this somehow considered acceptable in the U.S.?
@SuldanMohamed_ If leaders can’t reach unity, someone has to step in before the country falls into more chaos. Another war and instability is the last thing the capital needs. Embarrassing situation, but at least someone is taking responsibility.
@TheDailySomalia “It is absolutely unacceptable. The Banadir regional administration or the Mogadishu city government must have a plan for those people. They are citizens, and they have rights.”
