Another thing I will add is that TYBW did a worse job at the whole Spiritual Pressure representation. They never reached the OG Bleach level screen shakes and ripples.

Why the TYBW anime is a failure. This is not in terms of revenue or popularity. This is in terms of my personal enjoyment and how much of a waste of potential it is.
This will be out of “order” as this is off the dome.

1. Rushed production (especially Cour 2)

2. Lack of resources and action directors and animators.

3. Tominaga

4. Taguchi having free rein to make Bleach look like Akudama Drive.

5. Cut out Royd and Lloyd backstory

6. Manga fights pale in comparison to eps 30 & 33 (anime only fights btw)

7. Canon & Filler peaks from the OG anime are better. A flawed week to week adaptation is better.

8. It took them 45 episodes to reach an OG Bleach peak

9. As of now, “God Like You” was removed.

10. Gerard & Lille get no additional fighting material.

11. Kira doesn’t get to showcase himself against Lille.

12. Episode 48 is a catastrophic failure and is worse than a 1:1.

13. Rangiku does nothing at all even though Kubo said she would be pivotal to the story.

14. Color scripting and VFX are either visual vomit or un-needed and ugly. The only time it looks good is with natural colors.

15. They didn’t give Gremmy vs Kenpachi any new anime original scenes even though Gremmy can imagine anything. They crammed 9 chapters in the episode and cut reactions.

16. They ruined the 0 Squad fights because of how rushed the production was. Only 6-7 months for a fight heavy Cour. The 0 Squad fights pale in comparison to OG Bleach peak fights. Such a waste.

17. They ruined the “Almighty is the power to alter it” panel.

18. They ruined the “Grains of Sand” panel.

19. OST’s don’t reach the level of OG Bleach

20. The atmosphere and grit is all but gone in this new anime.

21. No expansions to BG9 or Cang Du. BG9’s schrift was never revealed.

22. They cut Robert Acutrones death and we also don’t know his schrift.

23. The pacing is so damn fast. The literal opposite of the OG anime. They rarely had any good pacing in this adaptation.

24. They cut Byakuyas lines when talking about Chojiros death

25. New additions could have just been an add on manga, or a pamphlet at this point.

26. They cut the Lieutenants meeting in the beginning.

27. They only allowed 52 episodes, NOW 50!

28. Pierrot basically used Kubo and Bleach as their sacrificial guinea pig for later projects.

29. Yuugen RB is gone

30. They removed Mask De Masculines Star Headbutt and Renjis subsequent Elbow strike. They also removed some dialogue and James brutal death.

31. They ruined all of the potential from Kenpachi’s fights.

32. Ichibei vs Yhwach is one of the biggest disappointments in history.

33. The CGI on Pernida is atrociously ugly.

34. The choreography in 95% of fights is absent. Such a huge waste.

35. This anime feels like Resident Evil the Final Chapter in how bad scenes are transitioned.

I know I missed some things, but this was just a quick rundown.
I could have put damn near every manga fight as a point, but that would be too long.
This is by no means a magnum opus adaptation and quit using Kubo as your twisted linchpin for it. He is happy he is working on it. That’s it.
