@shinjan100 @Gramergolpo While coming from Kolkata or Burdwan you need to go towards Saktigarh area by leaving the Highway, just ask somewhere is the Railgate or Shishu Uddan or SBI Branch. The shop is just opposite to the Shishu Uddan just beside the Saktigarh Mandir complex.

@shinjan100 @Gramergolpo Unpopular Knowledge, the place which has all the shops & widely believed as Saktigarh is actually not. Most of the old shops closed down when the Highway was built with Saktigarh Byepass long ago. There is only one OG shop remaining in near the rail gate.

2. Shuttle AC SBSTC buses between Burdwan Asansol.
3. Stoppage of all trains at BWN.
4. Dedicated AC buses to Kolkata.
5. Improvement in city road infrastructure.
6. IT Hub.

My point is Malda is enjoying a larger chunk of its potential today compared to BWN which is being grossly under-utilised. If you see individual train boarding data at BWN you may be shocked.

BWN doesn't even need new trains just the halts of existing trains will push it to the top 4 meanwhile with more Express trains and many originating trains Malda is behind in PRS. No jealousy just facts.

Malda as on date has more Express trains than BWN. In fact many of them are originating trains. Just wanted to keep this clear.
