The New York Safe Haven for Transgender Youth and Families Act has passed both the State Senate and Assembly. The bills (S2475B/A6046B) will make NY a sanctuary state for Gender Affirming Care! We urge @GovKathyHochul to sign it into law.
@shortstrategist you really are training our EQNY Youth Advisory Council to use social media to change hearts & minds (thanks @BrianRny for creating the opportunity)!
I'm in Albany for some more advocating with @EqualityNewYork @A_TypicalQueer @ababine @shortstrategist and many more! Can't wait to spread the word that the LGBTQIA+ community needs and deserves support!
In collaboration with our partner @NYCLU, we are hosting a panel exploring the past, present, & future of the role law enforcement has on our community.
