We strongly reject the decision by the U.S. state of Arizona to adopt the settlement term “Judea and Samaria” instead of the West Bank, and consider it blatant bias and a clear adoption of the occupation’s false narrative at the expense of reality and historical facts.

This step represents support for settlement expansion and the occupation, and a distortion of awareness through the use of terms aimed at erasing the Palestinian national identity of the land by promoting the terminology of the fascist Zionist occupation, in clear violation of international law and UN resolutions.

We call on the international community to reject this illegitimate step, and we urge our people and supporters to confront these policies through media, political, and legal means, and expose their dangers.
