On 29th June 2026, terrorists abducted 36 students sitting for their NECO exams from Government Day Secondary School, Lassa, Borno State alongside a teacher. 25 girls, 11 boys.
Today, Thursday 5th November 2026, marks 128 days these children have spent in captivity.
128 days is approximately 4 months 9 days now. We do not know their fate or whereabout till today. The lives, health and well being of these 36 children remain uncertain while the ruling government is campaigning for 2027 Re-election.
@officialABAT, when are the Lassa children coming home?
Is securing your tenure in 2027 more important than the security and safety of these children.
