@AmericanAir a group of 60 kids are on a flight from SFO to DC connecting via Charlotte. However the SFO to CLT (2830) flight was mismanaged and is now delayed. If the kids miss the connection they will be stranded in the Charlotte airport.

Please help asap.

3. Thinking they can go to a hotel? No! They are now headed to CLT at 1am into the storm, leaving all parents worried about their safety and wellbeing! School booked the trip through @EFExplore . While parents called EF, their reply was it’s the responsibility of @AmericanAir

2. Their flight to Charlotte was diverted to Raleigh due to inclement weather at CLT, while already missing their connection to IAD. The 12-14 year olds arrived at RDU at midnight, tired, hungry, without their checked bags (enforced by AA although they were carryon sizes).

1. A group of 40+ middles schoolers boarded AA 2830 1pm 6/3 SFO, for many of them their first trip to Washington DC. The plane left the gate and were taxiing for an hour before returning to gate due to “weight imbalance”, which later some flight attendant blamed the kids for it.
