The very obvious solution to get more parents to stick with DCPS for middle school would be to offer advanced tracking, but no way the city’s progressives would swallow that.
@KarstResearch@ACIPartnerhship To James point though it could be casualty that rehardens sooner. There’s just an insane amount of capital in the property system.
@ACIPartnerhship@KarstResearch It backs up in US. Carriers looking to grow and can’t in property dropping casualty rates. Different softening mechanic than property last year but def soft now.
@moseskagan Interesting that RE market doesn’t have room for “unearned commission” the way insurance does (if policy canceled create broker payable to carrier of commission paid initially but now pro rata unearned, debit future commission payments to pay down).
@wexler@JakeWilkns If they maintain the quality from their tristate area locations it’s because they’re way better. CYM is a meh bagel papered over by quality hot sandwiches and novelty. Pearls and bullfrog are fine but would be nothing remarkable in NYC where pop up was considerably strong.
@avibenhutta@hedgequote that excludes the reciprocals from the financials reported on the fee business. does not mean the reciprocals are not profitable just that they are a separate entity. their strategy, like Fidelis, was always to separate the fee business from the ROE business.
