Everything you are going to do in this life, I mean everything, there is a red line you must never cross, no matter what.

You can pursue your ambitions. You can seek wealth, influence, success, recognition and power. You can become whatever you aspire to be. But never let the pursuit of this world make you cross the line that separates you from your faith and your Creator.

Be ambitious, but be mindful. Be successful, but remain grounded. And above all, be careful of shirk. There are boundaries that must never be compromised, regardless of the circumstances or what the world offers in return.

Because in the end, everything in this world is temporary, but your relationship with Allah is everything.

At the Africa Food Systems Forum in Kigali, I joined Heifer International and the Mastercard Foundation to discuss building resilient food systems across the Sahel.

Under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, Nigeria is strengthening food security through increased production, climate resilience, mechanisation and regional cooperation.

With 2,000 tractors and over 9,000 implements and spare parts being deployed, we are closing the mechanisation gap and moving agriculture from subsistence to enterprise.

Resilience cannot stop at national borders. Stronger partnerships, regional food corridors, market linkages, research and innovation are critical to securing our shared food future.
