Heartiest congratulations to the Purig Cultural & Literary Society (PCLS), the Ladakh Academy of Art, Culture & Languages (LAACL), scholars, writers, and the entire Purgi-speaking community on the historic launch of the official Purgi Script at the Mendok Rgyaspa Festival Amphitheater TFC Kargil.

This landmark achievement marks a new chapter in preserving and promoting the rich linguistic and cultural heritage of Purig. The unveiling of a standardized script will strengthen efforts to document, teach, and pass on the language to future generations.

I also pay tribute to the invaluable contributions of Late Agha Syed Hussain Al-Musavi, recipient of the Kacho Sikandar Khan Sikandar Memorial Literary Award, whose lifelong dedication greatly enriched Purgi language and literature.

May this milestone inspire continued efforts to preserve our diverse languages, traditions, and cultural identity for generations to come.
