حکومتِ پاکستان کی وزارتِ اطلاعات و نشریات نے جو مؤقف پیش کیا ہے، وہ گمراہ کن ہے،ہم اسے مسترد کرتے ہیں۔

مارچ 2025 سے اسلام آباد ہائی کورٹ کے فل بینچ کا ایک فیصلہ اور حکم موجود ہے، جس میں یہ ہدایت دی گئی تھی کہ عمران خان اور ان کی اہلیہ کو ہفتے میں کم از کم دو مرتبہ ملاقات کی اجازت دی جائے۔ جس پر کبھی عمل نہیں ہوا۔

پاکستان کے قوانین اور بالخصوص صوبہ پنجاب کے جیل قوانین، جہاں اس وقت عمران خان قید ہیں، ایسی ملاقاتوں کی اجازت دیتے ہیں۔ عدالتوں نے بھی حکم دیا تھا کہ ان قوانین پر عمل کیا جائے اور عمران خان اور ان کی اہلیہ بشریٰ بی بی کو ہر ہفتے کم از کم دو ملاقاتیں کروائی جائیں۔

یہ ایک ایسی حقیقت ہے جسے کوئی ریکارڈ جھٹلا نہیں سکتا کہ 25 مارچ 2025 سے، جب اسلام آباد ہائی کورٹ کے فل بینچ کا یہ فیصلہ اور حکم جاری ہوا، اس حکم پر ایک مرتبہ بھی عمل نہیں کیا گیا۔

اس کے بعد سے ایک بھی ایسا ہفتہ نہیں گزرا جس میں اسلام آباد ہائی کورٹ کی جانب سے حکم دی گئی دونوں ملاقاتیں کروائی گئی ہوں۔

اکتوبر 2025 کے بعد تینوں بہنوں میں سے کسی کو بھی عمران خان سے ملاقات کی اجازت نہیں دی گئی۔

اس کے بعد، یعنی 2 دسمبر 2025 سے لے کر 18 اگست 2026 تک، عمران خان کی کسی بہن کو ان سے ملاقات کی اجازت نہیں دی گئی۔

18 اگست 2026 کو سپریم کورٹ آف پاکستان نے حکم دیا کہ عمران خان کو اسلام آباد کے شفا انٹرنیشنل ہسپتال منتقل کیا جائے، جہاں سپریم کورٹ آف پاکستان کے حکم پر تشکیل دیے جانے والے ایک میڈیکل بورڈ کو ان کا معائنہ اور علاج کرنا تھا۔اس بورڈ میں ڈاکٹر فیصل سلطان، جو عمران خان کے ذاتی معالج ہیں، اور ان کی بہن ڈاکٹر عظمیٰ، جو خود بھی ڈاکٹر ہیں، کو شامل کیا جانا تھا۔اس پر بھی عمل نہیں ہوا۔

یہ عمران خان کے حقوق کی نفی ہے، بطور خاندان عمران خان کی بہنوں کے حقوق کی نفی ہے، پاکستان کے قوانین کی خلاف ورزی ہے، اور تشدد کی بین الاقوامی تعریف کے مطابق اسے تشدد کے زمرے میں بھی شمار کیا جا سکتا ہے۔اس پورے عرصے کے دوران عمران خان کے وکلا کو بھی ان سے باقاعدگی کے ساتھ ملاقات کرنے کی اجازت نہیں دی گئی، اور نہ ہی بشریٰ بی بی کے وکلا کو ان سے باقاعدہ ملاقات کی اجازت دی گئی۔

حکومت کی جانب سے جاری کیے گئے اس نوٹ میں کہا گیا ہے کہ عمران خان کو ایک ایسے احاطے میں رکھا گیا ہے جس میں سات کمرے ہیں۔

اب سوال یہ ہے کہ یہ سات کمرے کس مقصد کے لیے ہیں؟

یہ سات کمرے انہیں جیل کے دیگر قیدیوں سے الگ تھلگ رکھنے کے لیے ہیں۔

یعنی بنیادی طور پر ان کے اردگرد خالی کمروں کا ایک حصار بنا دیا گیا ہے تاکہ وہ جیل کے اندر کسی دوسرے شخص سے رابطہ نہ کر سکیں۔

وہ خود صرف ایک کمرے میں رہ رہے ہیں، جس کا سائز آٹھ فٹ ضرب دس فٹ ہے، اور ان کے پاس بس یہی جگہ ہے۔

اب انہوں نے سلمان صفدر اور ان لوگوں کو، جنہوں نے حال ہی میں ان سے ملاقات کی ہے، بتایا ہے کہ ان کی قید کے حالات مزید خراب کر دیے گئے ہیں۔

18 اگست 2026 کے بعد بہنوں کے ساتھ ہونے والی تین ملاقاتوں کے دوران بھی یہی بات سامنے آئی۔

جیل میں ایک قیدی کو عام طور پر طلوعِ آفتاب سے غروبِ آفتاب تک اپنی کوٹھڑی سے باہر رہنے کی اجازت ہوتی ہے،عمران خان کو یہ اجازت نہیں دی جاتی۔

انہیں جیل کے احاطے میں چلنے پھرنے کا وہ معمول کا حق بھی نہیں دیا جاتا جو ایک قیدی کو حاصل ہوتا ہے۔

لہٰذا انہیں ان سات کمروں تک محدود کر دیا گیا ہے، اور یہ سات کمرے درحقیقت ان کے لیے ایک بڑی کوٹھڑی کا کام کر رہے ہیں، جس کا مقصد انہیں اڈیالہ جیل کے دیگر قیدیوں سے الگ تھلگ رکھنا ہے۔

اس سے ان کی تنہائی مزید گہری ہو جاتی ہے۔یہ انہیں دی جانے والی کوئی سہولت نہیں ہے۔حقیقت میں یہ ان پر عائد کی جانے والی ایک مزید غیر قانونی سزا ہے۔

My sister, Dr Uzma Khan, filed a petition before the Supreme Court on the 6th of May 2026 through Uzair Karamat Bhandari, ASC, for Imran Khan’s examination and treatment in the presence of his personal doctors and family members.
On 18th August, a three-member Supreme Court bench ordered the government to shift Imran Khan to Shifa International Hospital within 2 days. The government blatantly violated the order.
The government did not shift Imran Khan to Shifa International Hospital. All the other aspects of the order have also been disobeyed.
The Supreme Court had also ordered:
1.Constitution of a medical board in consultation and coordination with the management of Shifa International Hospital
2.Dr Faisal Sultan, Imran Khan’s personal physician, to be associated with the medical examination and treatment
3.Imran Khan be allowed to speak to his sons twice a week
4.Imran Khan be allowed to meet with his family once a week.

All the above reliefs were in accordance with the Constitution, Prison Rules and earlier orders/precedents.
NONE of the above directions have been complied with. The only limited access granted to the family has been to my sister, Noreen Niazi, who was allowed to meet Imran Khan on each of the previous two Tuesdays. Inexplicably, before meeting Imran Khan she was made to sign an affidavit undertaking that she will not speak to the press after the meeting.
In view of the gross and deliberate violation of the order, Dr Uzma Khan filed a petition for contempt of court. Despite the fact that our lawyer, Uzair Bhandari, filed two applications, early fixation and hearing of the contempt petition has not been granted and it has been fixed on 16th September.
The Constitution and the law require proper check up and treatment for Imran Khan and an END to his torture through isolation and solitary confinement!! This is what the Supreme Court order required. The demand that this be done is not extraordinary: these are Imran Khan’s fundamental rights guaranteed by the Constitution. If the government has no respect for the Constitution and the decisions of the Supreme Court, and can simply disregard its orders, what other forum is left for us?

Few days ago, I saw a clip where you shared your dad’s candid comments about your cricket, which was something along the lines of “you don’t have quite the passion needed to be a cricketer”.

I wanted to tell you that the innings that you two played at @HomeOfCricket yesterday was outstanding … the way you two batted out there may not be conclusive about the passion for cricket but it surely demonstrated the passion to get your father the medical care he needs and his release from an unjust and illegal incarceration. Your dad would surely be proud of all these front foot interviews you are giving to raise awareness on human rights violations in Pakistan.

Thank you so much for leading the awareness campaign with so much grace and intelligence. Also want to share gratitude for your mom @Jemima_Khan for all that she does. Her voice travels far.

Manifesting that we will all see good days soon with Imran Khan out of jail with full health recovery and Pakistan on its way to glory under his leadership.
