And there is this one particular advice I have received from one of my ates at church. She said that everytime hate or the memory comes in to trigger the pain that person caused me, just say:
“I forgive you, _____.”
Over and over again, until your pain becomes your strength. 🥹
One fact about me:
My first step in moving on is deleting an entire conversation. May it be on Messenger or in my Messages. Knowing me, I would always try to go back and remind myself of every emotion I’ve felt in every bubble in a thread. It’s like taking myself in a dark room.
So today, I did that again. I even blocked the person on FB. Was that bad? Hehe. I guess that’s just me, trying to save myself from drowning in a pool full of what-ifs and why’s. But for the record, I have released forgiveness to that person by faith.

Our seasons of suffering are not for nothing.
They will grow us... shape us... soften us.
They will allow us to experience God’s comfort and compassion. And we will find life-giving purpose and meaning when we allow God to take our painful experiences and comfort others.

Pray.
Fix your eyes on God.
Panic happens when the heart gets distracted.
Zoom in on Him.
Magnify Him.
Remember, God is bigger, stronger, and greater than any giant we battle.
Fight hard! With God…. anything is possible!!!
That was the deepest, most painful cry of mine so far this year.
The ugliest.
The loudest.
The I’m-never-holding-back kind of breakdown.
Still, the cry of my heart is to give God praise from the inside out of my soul.
