If I could take anything from this franchise and plop it into a Superman movie, it would be the constant presence and heart warming interaction between the hero and their cities the people. This scene is so damn good. #Superman
The #Supermanandlois fandom is confusing. Fans have literally been begging for relief from the bloated cast. Even Helbing has commented on the large, hard to manage cast.
Now that the cast is being cut back to where it should have been the entire time, people are... complaining?
@bkores2 @snl_fanvids I have thought about dropping it several times this season. Ultimately I’ll come back bc my 28 years of Superman love will push me through. But god, can’t this just be a freaking Superman show?? Is that too much to ask from a Superman show, really??
Still a lingering sadness after the last episode of #SupermanAndLois, and the ever-sinking realization that their approach to female characters is never going to change. To all my fellow #superfamily who are similarly crushed:
@BittrScrptReadr@GailSimone That being said @BittrScrptReadr you’re absolutely right that Reeve shaped the role, made it his own, and his portrayal served as the basis of the character going forward. His contribution to Superman is unparalleled and will live on indefinitely through the actors who followed.
@BittrScrptReadr@GailSimone As an unbiased third party I am solidly in the Tyler camp. His Clark is just so loveably dorky and incredibly caring, and his Superman is a FORCE. In my opinion there is no one else who even comes close.
@BittrScrptReadr Omg I feel very old — I remember when caretaker aired so vividly!! It’s so hard to believe it’s truly from a different era at this point, it was so central to my childhood and to my life, really!! Thank you @TheKateMulgrew for always being so inspiring!
@BethSumm@AlexGarfin@aNewsJunkie This is incredible!! It is so well done and I love the detail you put into it! I love that you put all this work into celebrating one of the best characters in Superman and Lois!! 🥰
@BittrScrptReadr This is an absolutely beautiful cover. Superman is at his best only when he has Lois by his side! They truly have one of the greatest fictional romances of all time— they are true equals, and they unequivocally help and support and nurture each other’s talents.
@BittrScrptReadr@GHLPodcast This book is a true masterpiece. I don’t say that lightly— the art, the writing, and the story itself; and I have never seen such a true understanding of the crux of the character anywhere else. Yes, it’s ironic to call this the best Superman book of all time— yet it really is.
@bookgirlboston1@BittrScrptReadr @Jaijamison @MichaelNarducci @KristiKorzec @andrewnwong Kingdom come is revered and I can’t even begin to fathom why. Superman without Lois Lane isn’t really Superman at all (not to mention the misogyny behind the concept of Wonder Woman and Clark, and Bruce’s awful comments on top of it, but I won’t go there).
Here is the full list of who gets to determine what is or is not antisemitic:
1. Jews
In no other case would anyone dare tell a targeted group that something the vast majority of its members regard as hateful or discriminatory really isn't.
Stop lecturing us on antisemitism.
