The CEO ordered a full investigation.
They checked every employee who had resigned.
Every one had been accused of financial misconduct shortly before leaving.
But there was one thing they all had in common.
They had worked directly under the same executive.
Her boss.
CEO: “Bring him in.”
Her boss entered.
Boss: “What’s this about?”
CEO: “$4.9 million.”
Boss: “I don’t know anything about that.”
Employee: “Then why were fake resignation letters created for employees in your department?”
Boss: “I have no idea.”
Employee: “Why were their credentials accessed from your computer?”
He went silent.
CEO: “Answer her.”
Boss: “Someone is framing me.”
Employee: “That’s what you told HR about me.”
The CEO opened another folder.
CEO: “We found the money.”
Boss: “Where?”
CEO: “In an offshore account.”
Boss: “Whose?”
The CEO looked at him.
CEO: “Yours.”
His face went pale.
Boss: “That’s impossible.”
CEO: “The account was opened using your passport.”
Boss: “I never opened it.”
Employee: “Then someone stole your identity too.”
The room went silent.
The CEO slowly closed the folder.
CEO: “There’s only one person who could have access to everyone’s identities.”
Everyone looked at HR.
The HR manager stood up.
HR Manager: “Don’t look at me.”
Employee: “You had access to every employee’s records.”
HR Manager: “So did the CEO.”
CEO: “Not their banking information.”
Silence.
Then the HR manager started crying.
HR Manager: “I didn’t do it.”
Employee: “Then who did?”
She pointed at the boss.
HR Manager: “He forced me.”
The boss turned pale.
Boss: “What?”
HR Manager: “He threatened my family.”
The CEO called security.
But before they could reach him, the boss laughed.
Boss: “You think I’m the mastermind?”
Everyone froze.
He looked at the CEO.
Boss: “Ask him why the company has been losing money for five years.”
The CEO’s face changed.
Employee: “What does that mean?”
The boss smiled.
Boss: “Because your CEO has been stealing far more than I ever did.”
The room went completely silent.
And for the first time…
The CEO had nothing to say.
@NigAffairs@woye1 And the funniest part about BAT was that PDP then did everything to lure him to the party but he refused but someone without any value will tell me it was ruling party that forced him to change party like camelion. Rubbish.
@tunisky@msmocrown@fkeyamo Paying for trolley is the same everywhere, in UK without pounds coin you cant pick a trolley. Thats the standard you dont pick trolley for free.
@FolushoxFolarin I honestly felt that they should be more concerned about this than real time transmission. Its going to be a long film for them especially ADC
@Drmopaul Same guy that fails to mobilise his base, less than 10 votes in your polling booth shame on you. You and your obidiots mobs are menace to our democracy.
@Sistaliano Come to think of it, Mrs Ajimobi at the moment is the leader of the party in the state and the party's bigwigs were with her. That shows who we are. Unfortunately for Akeredolu his generation might not touch power again.
@NoNonsensezone Apologies that is disrespectful, you can't compare OAU with any state university in naija let alone south east abeg. Incomparable please.
@Onyii_23 Do you think Buhari would have won primaries against Atiku dollar and kwankwaso. To understand better APC primary grand read against all odds
@Imranmuhdz This guy is just a comedian, someone that ruled a state for 8 years but can only increase the IGR by just less than #2b is here telling us naija would become paradise in 2years ok o.
