Minnesota saw a historic milestone in 2025: only 17 drowning deaths statewide—about half the typical annual average of around 35. Even more encouraging, just one of those tragedies involved a child under 18. This reflects years community commitment from so many great partners.

Abbey’s Hope Charitable Foundation just won a Community Life Saver Award from the NDPA! Our “10,000 Life Jackets in the Land of 10,000 Lakes” program reached families across Minnesota, making sure every child has access to proper water safety gear.
