I left journalism to ghostwrite & coach top investors, CEOs & B2B founders, & what a wild ride it’s been 😅
From interviewing ex gang members, royals, & politicians to working with founders who’ve sold their startups for millions & investors chasing the next uber

My client roster so far includes:
- Tim Armoo, who sold his startup for eight figures

I’m excited to be launching something new: A training service for corporate teams because most people are great at their job, but don’t know how to communicate on or offline & that gap is costing them opportunities

Great conversations @StationersHall with regards to where does traditional media, digital media & social media sit in today’s world of journalism. Really engaging thoughts by @AbbiancaMak@ElizaFilippouli#Digital#media
This is good reminder for people with podcast to study media law, journalism and really study their craft. Podcasting isn't about getting a mic and hitting publish on anything. There's libel. There's defamation. There's right to comment. There are so many legal obligations before publishing. If you aren't a professional broadcaster, ensure you get a professional production team.
Over the last few months I’ve been interviewing Black founders who’ve raised $50K to $40M for their startups. Here’s one of my favourites with @rubenharris where he encourages founders to *keep going* even when the road ahead isn’t easy https://t.co/aM6fQp9WiF #BlackinTech
@Awallprintss invited both GenZ & millennials into one room to discuss the role of the media, what they think we’re doing right/wrong and to hear some of their ideas
It was great to see a room full of young people who care about the state of the media #journalism
Another Met Police scandal: a black girl was stripped and searched at school. The search, which involved the exposure of her intimate body parts, took place without an appropriate adult present and with the knowledge that she was menstruating. Case review:

As journalists we are taught to try and find ways to emotionally connect our audience with our stories.
Coverage of the Ukraine war has revealed the unexamined racial bias some journalists have in making that emotional connection. (Interview on @BBCNews) https://t.co/MUIFepzMJ0
Last week, we spoke to @Awallprintss@AbbiancaMak. They recently published a feature by one of their young writers following up on the destruction from Cyclone Idai which hit Zimbabwe 3 years ago. It's a stunning example of some of the stories they tell.

Without Jamal Edwards and SBTV, there is no Black Ballad. Jamal and SBTV set the standard, inspiration and possibility of being a Black British media entrepreneur that centres black culture.
I’m floored that he’s left this world so young and with so much more to give.
Absolutely devastating news. Rest in peace Jamal. A true pioneer, trailblazer and community leader. He really paved the pathway for a lot of us dreamers - making us believe that anything & everything is possible ❤️
