@ICT_MrP A few years ago when we had the consecutive days over 36 we started at 0730 and finished at about 1415. The kids loved it. Most families rallied round and took children home for play dates with paddling pools etc/ to the beach. We had provision for those who had to stay.

@Muncomagic It can be hard to get a council place. Also the choice is far less good. But I do take your point and understand the frustration. Especially the paying subsidising the cost of council placements due to stupidly low rates.
