@hahussain 2/2: Lebanon should have pushed to be included within the corridor, but previous governments were favouring the Silk Road instead (look East ??). The president's today move is belated but necessary. BTW, Israel is NOT an IMEC signatory.

@hahussain This is not what the IMEC is aiming for. It aims to connect countries within the corridor (spanning from India to Europe, through several GCC countries) to facilitate exchange of goods, energy and data. The US is a signatory but not a direct beneficiary. 1/2

Je rappelle l’investissement de la France (1 Md€), les possibles coopérations mais surtout l’IMPORTANCE d’avoir un secteur privé libanais puissant. Ce sont eux les meilleurs ambassadeurs du pays. Il faut les écouter ! @medef
