The impact of Damar Hamlin's injury has been so incredible. It's brought out the best in us. I see so much kindness/sympathy/compassion. The most amazing thing to witness is our collective dependence on God. We were hurt/lost & immediately turned to Him. How powerful is our God!
One time I got in a tussle with my 8 year old neighbor because she was playing on her driveway with a grey cat that I thought was mine so I was calling his name while claiming it was mine thinking she was lying to me & I walked back home pissed to see my cat sitting on our couch

People don’t talk about post athlete life enough. Spending 16 years of your life in a gym and then it’s just gone and you have to figure out who you are outside of something that’s been your identity for so long.
