I would like that today we may together begin to build a culture of reconciliation. We must meet one another, heal our wounds, and forgive the wrongs we did and did not do, but whose effects we still carry. There are no enemies — only brothers and sisters. What we need are gestures and policies of reconciliation.
As it appears that Trump was shot in Butler, Pennsylvania, please remember all of the following:
1) This is sickening and disgusting and this person's actions will cause the opposite impact to what they likely wanted.
2) This was one person or a few people's fault. People are already blaming "Biden or "All democrats". STOP!
3) Stop pretending that this was a set-up or that Trump planned this. You are just as sick as the shooter is.
4) America is better than this, and every Democrat needs to speak out against these actions.
Stop watching conspiracy theories form in real time and start making a healthy dinner for yourself or your family.
Anything that you're gonna find out tonight will be more accurate and well-sourced tomorrow anyway.
There is absolutely no place for political violence in our democracy. Although we don’t yet know exactly what happened, we should all be relieved that former President Trump wasn’t seriously hurt, and use this moment to recommit ourselves to civility and respect in our politics. Michelle and I are wishing him a quick recovery.
It fills me with such pride and joy to announce that my version of Speak Now will be out July 7 (just in time for July 9th, iykyk 😆) I first made Speak Now, completely self-written, between the ages of 18 and 20. The songs that came from this time in my life were marked by their brutal honesty, unfiltered diaristic confessions and wild wistfulness. I love this album because it tells a tale of growing up, flailing, flying and crashing… and living to speak about it. With six extra songs I’ve sprung loose from the vault, I absolutely cannot wait to celebrate Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) with you on July 7th. Pre-order now at https://t.co/m3KNl71qrY 💜💜💜
Damar Hamlin is a truly wonderful and special person. He’s made an enormous impact on his community, long before he made the NFL — as you’ll see in the video below. Please pray for Damar and his family. 🙏
I’m a Christian in America. It’s never been hard to practice my faith. Not in 46 yrs. Not once. There’s no “War” on Christianity. I don’t need my faith to dictate what others believe. The American Church been clout-chasing since forever…🙄
