3 weeks into my final 8 week placement as a student OT and I can wholeheartedly say I’ve absolutely found the area which I want to work in once I’ve qualified this summer 💚🥹 #occupationaltherapy#studentOT
Went to the YSP yesterday with Norman. I fell in love this sculpture because it’s how I feel 90% of the time when I have a hot water bottle glued to me due to an endo flare up! Still getting my head around my new diagnosis but it’s so good to be back out walking with my boy 🧡
Saw a patient in clinic - had waited >12 months
Had a scan which showed an endometrioma at the time of referral.
Was still told by many healthcare professionals it was all in her head.
She has had to wait to see me to be told she has endometriosis and cried with relief.
We need to do better!

Proud big sister moment today seeing my sister graduate as a mental health nurse! We should have both been graduating as nurses today but instead (fingers crossed) I’ll be graduating as an OT this time next year 🫶🏽 #HudGrad#ProudBigSister

Enjoyed some long dog walks this week, as well as using reading week to read, prep for placement, catch up on lectures notes and have some time for self care! Here’s some pictures from Normans first time at gaddings dam 🌞💛#occupationalbalance

When we're at our most unwell and vulnerable, we need caring and compassionate treatment in a safe environment. As a bare minimum, we should be able to expect basic humanity and respect. (1/6)
