HEBRON IS UNDER SIEGE. FAMILIES ARE LOSING THEIR HOMES.
Since yesterday, at least 250 families have been displaced in Hebron, including my own sister, Hayat, and her seven children. Homes and shops are being demolished by the Israeli military.
Around 250,000 people are trapped in the city, while 1,000 families in H2 remain in their homes.
We are being collectively punished for something we neither did nor supported. Our suffering is being turned into political material for Israelโs elections, while innocent families pay the price.

A Palestinian family in Hebron, south of the occupied West Bank, watch in heartbreak and anguish the remains of their home that was levelled to the ground by Israeli occupation authorities.

Tonight in Hebron and throughout the West Bank, residentsโincluding women and childrenโwere evacuated from their homes.
This is not what a war to eradicate terror looks like.
This is what terror looks like.

These were the stories all of us - with grandparents who are holocaust survivors - grew up with. Forced to leave homes, at times in the middle of the night, at gun point.
Now people who are daring to pretend to speak in the name of Jews, are committing some of the same crimes.
Ethnic cleansing, war crimes, and crimes against humanity being carried out, televised live - and most of the Western governments can't be bothered to even talk about it.
It was never about just Gaza. It was always about erasing Palestinians in every way Israel can.
BโTselem urgently calls on governments and international institutions to act now, using all means available under international law, to prevent the forcible displacement of Palestinian civilians, collective punishment and extensive unlawful destruction in Hebron. Israeli leaders are openly declaring their intentions, and actions on the ground have already begun.
Following the shooting near Hebron on 23 October, in which two Israeli soldiers were killed, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Israel Katz openly announced plans to forcibly displace Palestinian residents and carry out extensive destruction in the area.
Inย aย statement,ย Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared:ย โWe will apply in the cities the successful offensive model we implemented in the refugee camps.โ
That same model has already displaced more than 33,000 Palestinians in the northern West Bank. Now, Israeli leaders are threatening to bring the same mass displacement and destruction to Hebron.
Implementation hasย already begun. Israeli forces imposed a cordon on Hebron and Halhul, while the Civil Administration began demolishing Palestinian structures in the neighborhood of Farsh al-Hawa. At the same time, Minister Bezalel Smotrich announced the establishment of four new settlement farming outposts in the South Hebron Hills.
Israeli leaders are openly announcing plans for collective punishment and acts that could constitute war crimes. These plans echo Israelโs devastating operations as part of the genocide in Gaza and mark a further escalation of its ongoing campaign of ethnic cleansingย as part of the Elimination Project in the West Bank: the systematic dismantling of Palestinian collective life while expanding settlements and entrenching permanent Israeli control.
The world cannot stand by as Israel continues its assault on Palestinians, waiting for yet more neighborhoods to be emptied and erased before intervening, despite what we have already witnessed in Gaza and the northern West Bank.ย Governments and international bodies must act now to prevent these crimes and protect Palestinian civilians.

The Israeli army has ordered more than 400 Palestinian families to evacuate their homes in Hebron, leaving thousands of people stranded in the streets with nowhere to go.

If Palestinians took their children to the motorways and roads to block aid trucks and food to reach Israelis, Palestinians would be painted as far worse than the Nazis by every mainstream media outlet and politician.
Havenโt seen a single story about this today. Not one.
This is not Gaza. This is Hebron today.
The Israeli occupation has begun destroying Palestineโs economic capital, a city that accounts for 75% of the countryโs production in the stone and marble, leather and footwear, plastics, glass, oils, dairy, and gold industries.
Ethnic cleansing is being inflicted on the Palestinian people everywhere across the land of Palestine.
Rubio knows perfectly well that this is a LIE. And so does everyone else.
This war was NEVER just about Donbas.
Russia invaded through Belarus to capture Kyiv, attempted to overthrow Ukraineโs government, attacked the country from multiple directions, and tried to seize territory far beyond Donbas.
Putin has repeatedly denied Ukraineโs right to exist as an independent nation. His demands have always gone far beyond territory: they concern Ukraineโs sovereignty, its foreign policy, and its right to choose its own future.
Reducing Russiaโs war of aggression to a dispute over โone regionโ is repeating the Kremlinโs narrative.
And Rubio knows better.
