A2: Making connections with students is a very important aspect in teaching. I plan on having personal conversations to find out their interests and making connections to form genuine relationships. #TCH296

A1: I am unlearning the ‘teacher as a hero narrative’ by reminding myself that teachers are human too. Mistakes are bound to happen and it is all part of the learning process. I also need to be able to set boundaries between school and my life outside of it. #TCH296

A5: I think it would be difficult to find a balance between students who need more of a challenge and students who are struggling through e-learning. It would be harder to accommodate the needs of every student and provide 1:1 help than in a normal classroom. #mschat #tch130

A4: If I had a student who was ghosting me I would call home and talk to their adults. I would express my concerns and suggest hosting a conference via zoom all together to discuss what we can do for them to be more active in their education. #mschat

A1: As a student, learning through a pandemic is difficult. Instead of a letter grade I think it would be more beneficial for students to receive feedback as they are already overwhelmed trying to get through the material on their own with less individual instruction. #mschat
