There is never a reason NOT to be kind to people because
a) you have no idea what struggles people are hiding under the surface and
b) you should never underestimate what a kind word can do for someone’s life.
Recognize that you can make a difference and act on it. #bekind
twitter is making me a very toxic person. I don’t know how to explain this except that it’s a very real feeling that I carry about with me all day - bitterness, negativity, cynicism towards people in general. It’s not good.
I don’t like it, so I’m leaving.
I might be back sometime in the future but I’m not putting a time limit on this - for all intents and purposes, my account will be "deactivated" and I will no longer have access to it.
I love how people are like "facts don’t care about your feelings" except when it comes to literally anything they have emotions about, and then suddenly scientific fact is "up for debate" and "just your opinion."
can’t believe I get to watch the US government tear itself apart in real time on ... *checks notes* ...twitter dot com
sorry just had to double check and make sure that this is actually the reality we’re living in. turns out, it REALLY is!! how neat is that so neat so very cool
also the venn diagram of people who say this and then also post about sinners (read: people who hold different opinions than they do) going to hell is a perfect circle
Love to see people’s instagram "theme" change and you can tell they think their edits are really next level but all they did was discover the clarity/sharpening tool and overuse it
I can’t believe how much we don’t care about the planet as a society
Like the fact that being environmentally conscious is a politically polarized debate instead of being an obvious priority across party lines is absolutely crazy to me
@FullAsMuchHeart yeah that’s absolutely ridiculous that something like that is seen as being aligned with a specf party
that being said, we tend to over politicize everything, which is beyond irritating
