Jurado would be the first person of Filipino descent on the council and the first woman to represent this district.

What I saw at the Argentina-Peru game in MIA where I sat last month: some started crowding the area, sitting along the stairs and standing in walkway. Security cleared the area, but it's concerning when exits are blocked. Sounds like it's happening to a greater degree now.

An incarcerated women died from heat stroke in a central Californian prison this weekend as local temperatures soared to over 113 degrees, according to a release from the California Coalition for Women Prisoners @c_c_w_p.
