Why buy tissue culture plants? Well for one, our plants are algae and pest free, reducing the likelihood of annoying algal blooms in your tank. This aquascape (by @dviauaquascaping ) was set up 6 months ago using our tissue culture plants, and the water is still clear as day!

Hemianthus callitrichoides (var. Cuba) is one of the world’s smallest aquarium plants with just millimeter-sized leaves. It is a low carpet variety that requires bright light and pressurized carbon dioxide injection to thrive. Available at https://t.co/LZ7jHMlCOk!
Sneak preview: Littorella uniflora. They're fairly slow growing but fingers crossed they'll be ready for our customers soon! What other plants would you like to see in our store?
A major reason aquarists opt to use tissue culture plants in their tank, is because they offer greater peace of mind to those who keep rare and fragile species, Crystal Red Shrimp, for instance. TC plants do not come with the risk of harmful contaminants, such as pesticides.
You can buy our high quality tissue cultured plants on our website: https://t.co/LZ7jHMlCOk
They are also available at several online retailers and pet stores across Canada. Check out your local store!
One of our explant tanks! In order to create our tissue culture cups, we first must clean and culture clippings from healthy mother plants. It can take some time to get it right, but in the meantime, we get to appreciate this wonderful view!
