Near and Dear was about learning about each other, sharing stories of community, and having an adventure in the neighbourhood that produced the start of an asset map.
The group of 80 including students from the elementary school came back with amazing stories and information.
I first visited @4AllPeople4 in 2007. Their hospitality & passion for the abundance in communities was a great source of motivation in our early community development work.
The welcoming the stranger & asking what are you dreaming of ignited much transformation.

There are over 200 “Happiness” signs in trees all over St. Petersburg Florida. They are made of aluminum and fiberglass and placed up high. The creator of the signs believes words have energies and happiness resonates more than most.

Today, I met with my #FPT counterparts of ministers responsible for social services to talk about the Canada Disability Benefit.
Together, we will work to ensure that persons with disabilities are better off thanks to this new measure and make 🇨🇦 a more inclusive place for all!
