the amount of disrespect you will tolerate when youre in love is actually insane. then one day the blindfold comes off and youre like damn i really let you do all that
do yall know how much it hurts holding back affection, yapping, yearning because you just know the other person doesn't care and this is all just a time pass for them and means nothing
in order to become a better person, you must first realize how horrible you really are. not in the dramatic sense, but in the quiet ways you sabotage yourself, repeat unhealthy patterns, hurt people who care about you, or tolerate what wounds you. you cannot grow if you keep pretending you’re innocent in the story you’ve created.
let your final act of love be the silence that they always wanted. no more begging for their time, replies or effort. step back and let them feel the space where your love used to be. and you, heal.
make sure you respect your partner more than you love them because you can cause a lot of damage to them while still loving them. when you respect them you'll think about them before you make any move & you'll think about the impact it will have on them
passive suicidal thoughts, when someone doesn't necessarily want to end their life, but feels so emotionally or mentally exhausted that they wish they could just go to sleep and not wake up, or disappear without having to make anything happen
I think you are forgetting how unfair this has been for me.
what I want is the same understanding, the same accountability, and the same treatment that everyone deserves.
and then u wonder why I’m so fed up? lol this wasn’t my starting point.
this is TWO YEARS of unequal opportunities, unequal treatment, and constantly being reminded that no matter how hard I worked, I wasn’t playing by the same rules.
at this point it’s hard not to question whether the standards were ever the same 🤷♀️
but tbh the frustrating part is realizing that while others spent two freaking years growing as architects, I spent mine trying not to become someone’s emotional punching bag.
