Ready for spring and summer! Over the past 48 hours, we hung a ninja warrior course in the backyard and *someone* hung a tree swing in the park! We work hard, play hard, and sleep hard! 🙂

The principal’s office was a bike shop this morning. 2 bikes fixed so kids can ride to school this spring. 1 was given to an international student 3 years ago. When she grew and got a new one, she brought the first one back so we could help another student. Kids are the best!

The Winter Band & Choir Concert at Deer Creek was outstanding! I am so proud of our students and the growth they have made with guidance from Ms. Lewis. It was a joy to share this evening with my family and so many more families from our community!

In the summer of 2022, we had to take down a beloved tree as part of our construction project. Today, I finally finished some tables for our staff lounge and office using wood that was milled from that same tree!
