5th Circuit is a 2-1 decision rules that long term residents who entered without inspection and set roots in the US are protected by the Due Process Clause and thus, cannot be detained without a bond hearing, if detained for more than 90 days, although they are subject to mandatory detention under 1225(b) and Buenrostro.

He faced a major setback on Tuesday when a federal judge ordered that construction could not begin on the White House ballroom that he's been eager to build.
