STROKE at the age of 34.
Runs 5k on weekends.
Normal blood pressure.
No diabetes. No smoking.
But ONE common stress relief habit quietly tore a major blood vessel and caused a massive brain attack.

To my fellow citizens of the Republic of Somaliland, home & abroad, I extend my sincere greetings and appreciation, and convey my best wishes for enduring peace, stability, and prosperity.
12:00 AM | Hargeisa
At midnight, #Hargeisa shines bright—city streets alive, fireworks lighting the sky, and the #UAE flag glowing at the heart of the capital. A powerful moment reflecting the deepening partnership between the Republic of #Somaliland and the United Arab Emirates.
“Normal day in Mogadishu, Somalia”
You see Somalians with assault rifles and the sounds of gunfire everywhere
Importing any amount of people from Somalia is suicide for your own country
Jambo🇰🇪! In peaceful Somaliland, over 8,000 Kenyans live safely, holding high-wage, secure jobs in construction, education, hospitality, engineering, and tech sectors.
Meanwhile, in chaos-ridden southern Somalia, 4,600 Kenyan soldiers bleed and die under the African Union flag, propping up Mogadishu’s failed state.
Time to wake up, Kenya: recognize Somaliland and invest in winners, not losers.
Acknowledged at Home, Denied at the UN: #Somalia’s #Somaliland Genocide Contradiction
Somalia’s president, Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, has acknowledged and publicly apologized for the genocide committed against the people of Somaliland by the Siad Barre regime, a position that sharply contrasts with statements made by Somalia’s envoy at the United Nations.
During yesterday’s UN Security Council meeting, Somalia’s ambassador to the UN, Abukar Balle, denied that genocide, triggering criticism from survivors, civil society groups, and observers who say the atrocities are extensively documented through eyewitness testimony, mass graves, and international human rights reports.
The contradiction between the Somali president’s acknowledgment and the UN envoy’s denial has reignited debate over historical accountability, truth, and justice for crimes committed in the late 1980s, when Somaliland cities including Hargeisa and Burao were subjected to large-scale destruction, resulting in the deaths of hundreds of thousands of civilians.
Somaliland restored its sovereignty in 1991 and has since maintained its own governing institutions, security forces, and democratic processes.
