#UPDATE: US AI Firm Says UAE-Linked Operation Targeted UN Experts on Sudan

#US artificial intelligence company #Anthropic says it disrupted an influence operation it assessed with high confidence was linked to the United Arab Emirates government.

The campaign allegedly used Anthropic’s Claude AI to produce social media content, documents and Sudan-related testimonies, while targeting #UN experts critical of Abu Dhabi’s role in #Sudan.

The disclosure comes amid Sudan’s devastating war between the army and Rapid Support Forces. #Khartoum has repeatedly accused the U#AE of backing the #RSF, allegations #AbuDhabi has consistently denied.
