@SkyNews@RachelSJohnson I wonder if Laura K watched the first 15-20 minutes before going on to do her own show, and then did a happy wee dance between the dressing room and studio desk.
@ameliabeckett@GMB In Metro-London and Metro-Manchester you forget about the rest of the UK. Manchester geographically just falls into the bottom half of the UK mainland.
I'll let the penny drop with you as to why a lot of Scots would be happy if it was just an actual No10 North.

@PippaCrerar@guardian If you live on the UK mainland Manchester is geographically in the Southern half of the UK.
It's a rebalancing from one Southern metro area to another metro area.
@LukePollard But he's PM of the UK.
Manchester geographically just falls into the bottom half of the UK mainland.
It should either be No 10 Central-ish or No 10 North of England.

@I_amMukhtar Agreed. Geographically Manchester is in the bottom half of the mainland of the country that he is PM of - the UK and NI.
Inverness would be appropriate.
@dantomlinsonmp You are the government of the UK. Geographically Manchester is still in the bottom half of the UK mainland.
Once you lot really get that into your heads and realise that there's more out there than your large metro-areas you might bring the whole of the UK back together.
@TimesRadio@cathynewman@KiMcGuinness Geographically Manchester is still in the bottom half of the UK mainland. Should No 10 North not be somewhere closer to Inverness?
@LukePollard Geographically Manchester is still in the bottom half of the UK mainland. Should No 10 North not be somewhere closer to Inverness?
Or is Scotland not going to be part of the UK?
@jeremy_average@ideanoc17 Given Manchester is geographically in the South of the United Kingdom I'd suggest relocating to Inverness in 2032 would be more appropriate.
@prings64@BBCBreakfast Indeed. It's geographically in the Southern half of the UK. If it was Inverness he was suggesting then I might support your argument.
@dave43law If he knew what he was doing No 10 North would be closer to Inverness. He's UK PM. Geographically Manchester is in the bottom half of the UK.
