Earlier this week, we concluded the 2023 edition of the National Girls in ICT competition organised by @FMCIDENigeria with Team Vianney from St. John Vianney Science College, Igbariam, Anambra State emerging as winners.

Their winning project - Moonlight Tales and Games (M-Tag) - is a platform that empowers young minds to explore, play, and connect with their cultural roots through a blend of folk stories and games.

M-Tag was one of 6 really interesting projects shared at the finals by some really enthusiastic, confident and passionate girls. Watching their presentations, it’s clear to me that their future is bright and that can only be good for our country.

Thank you to all who supported these girls through the process, including their teachers, schools and ecosystem partners. Special acknowledgement to the judges who volunteered their time for this as well from the regional to national finals.

As I said to all the girls in the finals, they are all winners and I’m really looking forward to the next edition of the competition!
