Outraged by the Israeli strikes that have killed many displaced persons in Rafah.
These operations must stop. There are no safe areas in Rafah for Palestinian civilians.
I call for full respect for international law and an immediate ceasefire.
In an act of traditional cowardice, Israel attacks the already besieged Gaza, a heavily populated civilian area showing no regard for innocent life.
Pro-Israel activists urge on whilst also playing the victim card.
Occupation creates conflict. Who is the occupied here?
#Gaza #GazaUnderAttack
The attack on @ImranKhanPTI and his supporters is completely unacceptable, and I strongly condemn this violence. It has no place in politics, in any democracy, or in our society. Im wishing a speedy recovery to Imran and all who were injured today.
For the international media reporting about the failed assassination attempt on Imran Khan. Get your facts right, this march isn't against the govt. But against American sponsored, GHQ carried out, regime change operation that culminated with this "Govt". #ImranKhan
Unquestionably a planned and targeted attack on #ImranKhan - the killer with an AK-47 targeted ImranKhan . Allah Ka Shukar ImranKhan survives … his right leg has been hurt. FaisalJaved has been hurt. This attack is not unexpected at all. May Allah Protect Pakistan.
This is what happened in Pakistan:
- A family exercised their right to free speech in a public place and called Ahsan Iqbal a thief.
- The family was sent rape threats.
- Their names and faces were made public.
- They were intimidated thru intelligence agencies.
- They were 1/2
Pakistan became an independent state in 1947; but the freedom struggle begins again today against a foreign conspiracy of regime change. It is always the people of the country who defend their sovereignty & democracy.
This is a sad day for Pakistan!
Imran Khan was the greatest Pakistani PM. A true statesman who led the country out of militarized corruption & the darkness that was the “War on Terror.”
He’s a victim of circumstances beyond his control (inflation, stubborn economic hurdles etc)
1/ I can't help but feel a sense of sadness for Pakistan today.
Imran Khan seemed to be a genuine, sincere, religious president who wanted the best for his people. There's simply no other candidate like him.
But still, one person can't change an entire system, & no one is perfect
