عيد وحده مجيد على اليمن العظيم و على كل شرفاء الوطن، وكل عام وانتم بالف خير، اعيادنا ثابته ولن تتغير ابتداءاً من موت حكم الكهنوت في ال ٢٦ من سبتمبر عام ١٩٦٢، وعيد ثورة ال ١٤ من اكتوبر عام ١٩٦٣ ضد الاستعمار، وال ٣٠ من نوفمبر في جلاء المستعمر , وال ٢٢ مايو ١٩٩٠ في وحدة الوطن.

لم تكن وحدة اليمنيين في ٢٢ مايو مبنيه فقط على مصلحه تقتضي لكسب مساحه جغرافيه اكبر والسيطره على مصادر ثروة اكثر، وانما كانت لحمه وطنيه لجميع قبائل اليمن الذي ظلت على مر مئات السنين تعيش في اقتتال وصراع يتبنى مشاريع اما عقديه طائفيه او خارجيه او مناطقيه. (١)

ما دمر اليمن واليمنيين على عصور متتاليه، لم تكن ٢٠ عام كافيه لتصحيح ذلك الخراب، وانما وضعت الوحده والجمهورية حجر الاساس الاول الذي يطوي كل تلك الحقبه السابقه من اجل ان تنهض هذه الحضارة مجدداً، وكلي امل ويقين انها باقيه طالما والرفض للمشاريع الضيقه اصبح واضح وكبير (٥)
