If Pakistan is serious about increasing tax revenue, we need to:

1. Drastically expand the tax base. Make it seamless (digitally) to become a filer. And EXTREMELY inconvenient not to be one. Make it painful.

2. Tax the rich hard. Not just income. Tax luxury. Tax lifestyle. 300% plus. No apologies. No compromise.

If someone owns a 2 kanal+ plot and eats imported chocolates/snacks, they should be paying a HUGE amount of tax.
