This question may sound deep on the surface, but it falls apart because it is built on a big historical and theological misunderstanding.
The premise assumes that Islam claims God only speaks Arabic, or that Arabic is the only language of divine revelation. But in reality, both Islamic theology and secular history teach the exact opposite.
If we check mainstream academic books such as “The Aramaic Language of Jesus” by Dr. Sebastian P. Brock, or we check Angel Sáenz-Badillos's “A History of the Hebrew Language” these mainstream scholars proved
that the historical Jesus taught in Galilean Aramaic, while Moses received the Torah in Biblical Hebrew.
Even according to Christian and Western history, the Divine has always spoken to prophets in the native language of their direct audience. Arabic is simply the continuation of this exact historical pattern for the final Prophet, who happened to be born in Arabia.
To say "Allah only speaks Arabic" is to completely miss how the concept of divine speech works. If you look at profound African Christian scholarship, particularly Professor John S. Mbiti's book which he titled: Concepts of God in Africa, it was meticulously documented that African societies possessed a deep understanding of a single, supreme Creator long before foreign intervention.
Whether they call Him Olodumare, Chukwu, or Modimo, the Creator understands and hears every human being in their indigenous tongue. In Islam, a person can make personal supplication to Allah in Yoruba, Zulu, English, or Mandarin, and it is perfectly understood and answered.
This is why I make bold to say that the choice of Arabic is not a matter of cultural supremacy, but a brilliant masterclass in global sociolinguistics.
One book I find interesting here is Peter Trudgill's Sociolinguistics which he called: An Introduction to Language and Society.
He pointed out that, any global movement requires a foundational standard language to keep its core message from fracturing into thousands of conflicting interpretations over time.
Just as English serves as the universal language of global aviation today so pilots from Nigeria and Japan do not crash into each other, Arabic is preserved strictly as the universal language of Muslims’ ritual prayer.
It is a global stabilizer that ensures a Muslim from Lagos, a Muslim from Beijing, and a Muslim from Rio can stand in the same row and pray in perfect, beautiful unison without a single language barrier.
I hope this help clears your misunderstanding and confusion.
Allah knows best.

Press Release: Our father, Mallam Nasir @elrufai, is still being held by the ICPC. Today, 15 May 2026, we witnessed two distinct yet equally serious attacks on his basic rights. First, his personal Doctor visited the ICPC at about 3pm to discuss the results of medical tests recently conducted on our father. Officials at the agency blocked the doctor from seeing him, claiming that written permission from the ICPC Chairman was required. This directly flouts a clear court order granting Mallam Nasir El‑Rufai unrestricted access to his doctors.
Second, his wife, Aunty Aichatou, brought his evening meal at around 7pm as she normally does. ICPC personnel turned her away, saying they had orders not to permit food deliveries after 6:30pm. This arbitrary rule is no less offensive than blocking his right to medical care.
These acts are an outright assault on the rule of law and a clear violation of our father's constitutional and human rights. No lawful detention justifies denying medical access or refusing basic family care based on an arbitrary curfew fixed by the ICPC. Shame on them as an institution.
We demand that all his constitutional rights be fully respected. We will no longer accept this pattern of intimidation dressed up as protocol. The ICPC must abide by the very laws it claims to enforce.
Signed
Hon. Mohammed Bello El-Rufai

Dear Gov @ubasanius,
This is a personal request, but not personal.
It is about a woman.
She served Kaduna State for 35 years and retired in 2023. During her career, she went beyond duty—helping citizens navigate bureaucracy, including me during my PhD, when I went seeking for Bench Allowance that I never got. She did without expecting anything in return. Even though I didn't get it, I appreciated her efforts and kept in touch.
Yet since retirement, she has received no pension, no gratuity, and every effort to claim what she earned has failed. Months of waiting, calls, and letters have brought nothing. Imagine dedicating decades to public service, only to be left behind. She once supported countless people with care and professionalism. Now, she deserves the same: security, recognition, and respect from the state she served.
Kaduna State, it’s time to honor your retirees. Pay what’s owed, uphold their dignity, and show that decades of service are valued, not forgotten.

We know that when Allah wants something to exist, He says 'Kun' (Be) and it is. But there is a deep secret in our tradition about four specific things that were so honored, Allah created them with His own Hand instead of just the word. This is a level of distinction that sets these four apart from every star, ocean, and mountain in the universe. Who can name all the four?
The continued detention of Mallam Nasir El-Rufai has created a growing public perception that justice is being overshadowed by external pressure and political considerations. In any democracy, that perception alone is deeply damaging.
Courts must be guided only by law, evidence, and constitutional principle. When a prominent opposition figure and leading voice within a political coalition remains in custody amid unresolved bail issues, many citizens will understandably question whether the process is truly independent, balanced, and free from interference.
No court should allow itself to appear as an instrument of partisan interests. The judiciary exists to protect liberty, restrain abuse of power, and stand above political contests. Where detention appears prolonged without compelling legal necessity, confidence in the system is weakened.
Mallam El-Rufai, like every Nigerian citizen, is entitled to the presumption of innocence, fair treatment, and impartial adjudication. His political relevance should neither advantage nor disadvantage him before the law.
We therefore call for an urgent, transparent, and strictly lawful review of his continued detention and all pending bail matters. Justice must not only be done; it must be seen to be done.
If courts bend to pressure, democracy bends with them.
If courts stand firm, the Constitution stands firm.
Nigeria deserves courts that answer only to the law.
Hijab-wearing doesn't make one a criminal, and unless I am mistaken JAMB hasn't mandated a no hijab policy for anyone who wants to take JAMB, so denying someone entry into a JAMB CBT centre because they are wearing a hijab reeks of discrimination.
With or without the hijab, malpractices will still happen if the centre isn't well supervised, so that is no justifiable excuse.
And if for any reason candidates aren't allowed to wear hijab or any headcovering, it should be stated before registration to avoid putting them in an uncomfortable situation.
Search all candidates and accord everyone the same respect.

Everyone is killing Northerners in Nigeria because our lives have become so worthless. Yet we are supposed to be proud because National Security Adviser & the Minister of Defense are Northerners.
Bashir,
Let me tell you the real difference between us.
You see Islam as your culture. Any tradition you grew up with, you call it Islam. If someone questions it, you get angry. Things like killing for blasphemy, child marriage, almajiri kids begging, staying quiet about corrupt leaders, and forcing women to cover their faces are just culture to you. You cannot speak against them even if the Quran says otherwise.
I am different. I argue with the Quran itself. I do not care about culture. I only care what the Book says.
That is why you have never answered any of my posts with facts or proof. You only get mad and call me Kafir. Nothing more.
I dare you right now. Pick any post I made and counter it using the Quran. No anger. No shouting.
True Islam does not create blind followers. I refuse to be one.
This is photoshopped. I have never posted anything of this nature, and there is no record of me posting anything like this on any of my social media platforms.
If you do not take down this tweet and issue an apology within the next 24 hours, you will be hearing from my lawyers.
@YusufAsunmogejo Let him be cuz when a person lives between two identities for too long, they risk losing clarity of who they truly are, until the mask either replaces the self or becomes inseparable from it, gradually he will subtly reveal his true self through actions, emotions or bias.
Military eliminate 65 bandits, kill Ado Allero’s son in Zamfara offensive in coordinated ground, air offensive
By: Zagazola Makama
Troops of Operation FANSAN YANMA, in a coordinated ground and air offensive, have neutralised no fewer than 65 bandits, including a notorious kingpin, Kachalla Iliya Sarki, son of wanted bandit leader Ado Allero, during a major operation in Tsafe Local Government Area of Zamfara.
Credible security sources told Zagazola Makama that the operation, which took place at Munhaye village behind Kunchin Kalgo, dealt a devastating blow to the terrorists long associated with deadly attacks across Zamfara, Katsina and parts of Kano State.
The sources said the intense battle commenced at about 6:00 p.m. on Saturday and lasted for over seven hours, as troops engaged the bandits in a fierce exchange of fire, supported by precision airstrikes that decimated their positions.
According to the sources, the bandits kingpin Alhaji Ado Allero, had mobilised heavily armed fighters for the confrontation, deploying an estimated 300 motorcycles of fighters from Yan Wari axis in what appeared to be a coordinated attempt to repel advancing troops. Other fighters were deployed from the camp of Dankarami Gwaska and deployed as reinforcements against the troops.
“However, the superior firepower and tactical coordination of the troops overwhelmed the terrorists, leading to heavy casualties on their side,” one of the sources said.
Among those killed, the sources confirmed, were Kachalla Iliya Sarki, a key commander and operational leader within Ado Allero’s network, alongside other lieutenants identified as Dogo Sule and Iliya Mai Rasha.
“Iliya Mai Rasha was said to have taken over leadership responsibilities following the recent killing of another commander, Alti, last month,” the source added.
The sources further disclosed that seven vigilantes fighting alongside the troops paid the supreme price during the encounter.
In the aftermath of the operation, Ado Allero was said to have fled the area and is currently in hiding at Yankuzu twon, as troops continue pursuit operations to dismantle the remnants of his group.
Kachalla Iliya Sarki, described as one of the most vicious and feared bandit commanders in the North-West, had been linked to a series of deadly attacks, kidnappings and cattle rustling activities across Katsina and Zamfara States.
He was reportedly arrested in Katsina at some point during the administration of former Governor Aminu Bello Masari, but was later released following a dramatic incident in which his father allegedly orchestrated the abduction of senior police officers to force negotiations.
Security sources also revealed that the slain commander had, just four days prior to his death, travelled to Kano to rustle livestock, pointing to the trans-state operational reach of the criminal network.
His elimination marks a significant setback for banditry operations in the North-West, particularly in the tri-border region linking Zamfara, Katsina and Kano States.
“This is a major operational success. The death of Iliya Sarki will significantly disrupt command and control structures within the group,” a security analyst said.
However, security sources warned that the development may trigger retaliatory actions, noting that Ado Allero is likely to mobilise his fighters for reprisal attacks in response to the killing of his son and key lieutenants.
“This is a major operational success, but we must also anticipate possible revenge attacks. That is why troops are maintaining heightened vigilance across vulnerable communities,” a security source said.
The battle continues as exploitation by troops of Operation FANSAN YANMA continues as at the time of filling this report.
