Today marks the 31st anniversary of the passing of the beloved Emir, His Royal Highness, Late Mallam Aliyu Abdulkadir Dan’Bawa, the 10th Emir of Ilorin.

He was the son of Mallam Abdulkadir Dan’Bawa, the 8th Emir of Ilorin,the grandson of Emir Shuaib Bawa, the 7th Emir of Ilorin.

Thirty one years may have passed, but the memories of his leadership, wisdom, humility, and service to the people continue to live on. His legacy remains an enduring part of the history and heritage of the Ilorin Emirate.

May Almighty Allah forgive his shortcomings, accept his good deeds, and grant him Al-Jannatul Firdaus.
