The report includes interviews with a sheikh, a fighter, and a woman speaking on behalf of families who were unable to leave. According to their testimonies, they had been living in fear and uncertainty, believing they would face reprisals or displacement based on the image of Ansar Allah that had been presented to them by certain leaders and Saudi authorities.

The sheikh states that when Ansar Allah forces arrived, he informed them that he was living in the city with his family and that he was prepared to leave if requested. But, he was surprised when they told him that he could remain in his home safely and without fear.

The sheikh tells the reporter candidly: “We believed you were ruthless people who would show no mercy to anyone, but we found the opposite to be true.”

He also addressed the officers and personnel who had left the city, urging them to return to their families and not to be afraid.

The report further states that one officer contacted Ansar Allah and informed them that his family was still inside the residential area. According to the report, he was told that he could return to his family. He later returned, collected his belongings, and departed to the destination of his choice, with safe passage provided for him.

One of the women interviewed in the report speaks about the way she and the other families were treated, saying they were treated kindly and that basic necessities such as food and water were provided, along with other needs requested by the families.

The report concludes with a call directed at officers and personnel who left the area, urging them to return to their families and children, while emphasizing that they are covered by the amnesty decision and have been guaranteed safety.
