EDUCATION RENEWAL: RESTORING HOPE, ONE CLASSROOM AT A TIME
The rehabilitation of the once-dilapidated Isa Williams Primary School is more than a construction project; it is a promise fulfilled to the children of Agege.
Every wall restored, every classroom renovated, and every improvement made reflects our belief that no child should have to learn in an environment that limits their dreams.
Watching this transformation from what was once a neglected facility to a school our pupils can be proud of is a powerful reminder that meaningful development changes lives.
Our children deserve schools that inspire learning, nurture excellence, and give them the confidence to dream bigger. That is the future we are committed to building.
Because when we rebuild our schools, we rebuild hope. When we invest in our children, we invest in the future of Agege.

I have today signed the NIMC Act 2026 into law.
For nearly twenty years, Nigeria’s identity system operated under a law written for a different era. That era is over.
This new Act gives our nation a modern, secure and digital identity framework fit for the Nigeria we are building, a Nigeria on the path to becoming a one-trillion-dollar economy.
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, today assented to the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) Act 2026.
The new Act, which repeals and replaces the NIMC Act of 2007, is a landmark piece of legislation, signifying a transformative milestone in Nigeria's journey towards a secure, inclusive and digitally empowered nation.
WHAT IS NEW?
1. It provides robust data protection and privacy by introducing stronger safeguards for personal data in alignment with the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA) and international best practices, ensuring that Nigerians' personal information is processed, stored and protected in accordance with globally accepted privacy standards.
2. The new law designates NIMC as the root certification authority for Nigeria's National Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI), establishing the Commission as the nation's trusted authority responsible for secure digital identity, authentication and electronic trust services.
3. It empowers NIMC to ensure secure, interoperable and seamless data exchange among Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs), private organisations and other authorised entities.
4. It positions the NIMC General Multipurpose Card as a versatile identity credential for nationwide identity verification under the theme "One Card, Multiple Possibilities," among other things.
WHY IT MATTERS TO NIGERIANS
The implementation of the Act will deliver significant benefits by creating a trusted, secure and interoperable digital identity ecosystem that enables seamless access to services across both the public and private sectors while strengthening electronic trust across Nigeria's digital economy.
With this new law, Nigerians, even those in the diaspora, can expect wider, easier and more convenient access to identity services; stronger protection of personal data and privacy; enhanced cybersecurity and greater confidence in digital transactions; faster, safer and more secure identity verification and authentication; and a stronger foundation for Nigeria's digital economy, digital governance and long term national development.
Beyond words, this landmark accomplishment renews the trust of Nigerians in President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's, GCFR, commitment to building a one trillion dollar economy.
THE STORY OF “AGBARA NLA”
1987 - At the National Festival of Christian Drama (HARVEST 87) organized by Mount Zion Faith Ministries, at GOFAMINT- International Gospel Centre, Ojoo, Ibadan, drama leaders and Coordinators were gathered at separate meeting to share the vision with them of coming together with us to shoot the first Nigerian Christian movie.
The meeting was successful as we all rose from the meeting to strategize.
The Script was written and the Title was : “AGBARA TO JU AGBARA LO”.
We began series of meetings and Casting and rehearsals at OritaMefa Baptist Church, Total Garden Ibadan. And drama ministers majorly from church and campus drama groups were coming to the meetings from many cities and campuses, notably from UNILAG, UI, Ogun State University, College of Education, ILESA, etc, including many from Church drama Groups. .
Then, the film shooting began. The Cameraman was recommended for us and attended many meetings and rehearsals with us.
The Village Location was at APETE Village.
Then, after all our efforts and labours of many brethren from church and campuses, when the film shoot was completed, THE CAMERAMAN DISAPPEARED WITH THE TAPES.
All efforts to locate him proved abortive. So the vision was rested and it died.
1993. - When we had already made Five or six movies successfully, and we were more stable in ministry, the Holy Spirit brought up the matter of shooting the movie again. Now as a Television serial.
The Script was revisited and rewritten again.
We called on brethren and drama ministers gathered with us at BADEKU Village, Ibadan.
A FOURSQUARE Gospel Church Pastor gave us N5,000 to deposit for the Camera. And Rev Idowu Animashawun of World Hope Mission, BADEKU hosted us in the village all through the Muwonleru village Scenes
Bro Kayode Oyebode Oju Oluwa-Kay Technical was the Camera man and Technical Director of the 1993 TV Serial: AGBARA NLA
It was broadcast across the existing TV Channels of Western Nigeria in those days.
1994 - The Lord instructed us to go back on location and make the movie in English Language: ULTIMATE POWER. It was the English Version that spread across the Eastern and Northern Nigeria and beyond in 1994.
2025 - September/October we were on film location to do a Remake of this iconic production.
Rewritten and Directed by DAMILOLA Mike -Bamiloye
Produced By: CHRIS ODEH
Jointly Sponsored by: Mount Zion Films, Sozo Films and Circuit-TV
Therefore the story of the production of AGBARA NLA had began since 1987.
Now it is time to appear on the Global Stage in the Name of the Lord. Amen.

I was joined by our highly revered fathers & APC national leaders, Chief Bisi Akande & Aremo Olusegun Osoba, alongside Gov. @DapoAbiodunCON, & my dear wife, Mrs. Temitope Adeola, as I formally presented my Deputy, Mrs. Kudirat Abiodun Adegunwa-Balogun, to President @officialABAT
Abduction resolved. Victim freed. Suspects apprehended.
A victim was abducted in Ogbe Village, Ogun State, on 11 June 2026. The Ogun State Anti-Kidnapping Unit responded immediately, deploying intelligence and tactical resources without delay.
Following sustained surveillance and operational efforts, the victim was released unharmed on 18 June 2026.
The Ogun State Command continued to pursue the kidnappers. Acting on credible intelligence, operatives located the gang’s hideout. When officers arrived, the suspects opened fire and operatives returned fire. Two suspects were neutralized, while others fled with gunshot injuries.
Recovered items include one single-barrel gun, one expended cartridge, one mobile phone, and ₦2,200,000, suspected to be proceeds of crime.
IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, psc (+), NPM, personally commended the Ogun State Command operatives for their gallantry, professionalism, and dedication, which ensured the victim’s safe release and decisive action against the gang.
The leadership of the Ogun State Police Command issued a clear message to kidnappers: "Ogun State will remain hostile terrain for criminal elements."
The manhunt for the remaining gang members continues, and the investigation is ongoing.
To the victim and their family: you have returned home, and those responsible are being held accountable.
“Here we go again” and yet you couldn’t get through one paragraph without misrepresenting what Mount Zion actually does. Let me help.
MZ doesn’t demonize Yoruba culture. It celebrates it; the colors, the language, the proverbs, the royalty. Eg. Abejoye became a born-again Christian while still speaking deep Yoruba, bowing before his king, and dropping proverbs that’ll make your grandfather nod. Nobody took his culture. The Gospel just took the throne in his heart.
You framed this as “Yoruba spirituality vs foreign religion.” We never did. We frame it as Light vs Darkness and Darkness has no nationality. We’ve called it out in boardrooms, cities, and yes, in the villages. Location doesn’t exempt it.
“Profiting from portrayals” MZ has 200+ films. Less than 30% are traditional settings. Your entire argument is built on a minority of the catalog, filtered through a lens of cultural grievance. That’s not analysis, that’s a feeling dressed up as a fact.
People are asking questions? Good. Watch the films. The full ones. From start to finish.
AGBARA NLA drops OCT 1. 🔥 The name of Jesus is still above every other name, in 1993 and in 2026.
Hi David, @davido we humbly seek your financial support to cover our church.

Thank you
The voice of the people has reverberated from every part of our great state, and the message is clear.
I am deeply humbled by the scale of this victory. Securing a clean sweep across all 16 local government areas, and 85% of the popular vote is a humbling vote of confidence from Ekiti Kete.
From our urban centers to our most remote communities, you have spoken with one thunderous voice for continuous development, stability, and a future of endless opportunities.
This mandate means that our work must touch every household even deeper. There are no winners or losers today, there is only one united Ekiti determined to continue its journey of upward mobility.
I pledge to honor this immense trust by continuing to lead with humility, dedication and fairness.
Thank you, Ekiti Kete, for making history with us.

GOOD NEWS :Terrorists Crushed in Twin Military Operations as Troops Rescue Abductees
Troops of Operation FANSAN YAMMA recorded major victories against terrorists in Sokoto and Katsina States, foiling an attempted attack on Tureta town, rescuing abductees, recovering rustled livestock, and seizing motorcycles used by fleeing criminals.
In a separate intelligence-led dawn raid on a terrorist hideout in Matazu LGA of Katsina State, troops neutralised two terrorists and recovered weapons, ammunition, communication devices, motorcycles, and other logistics.
The successful operations highlight the military’s sustained offensive against terrorism and banditry across the North-West region.
I have exercised caution, and it is necessary to be wary because social media has indeed been flooded with t£rr0r!st apologists and sympathizers who weaponize information against our security forces. However, the public also deserves to know when our troops are making progress.
According to multiple security sources, the military operation in Oyo State has reached a critical phase. Troops have effectively surrounded the hideout within the National Park forest corridor where the 39 abducted schoolchildren and 7 teachers are being held. Security forces have blocked all possible escape routes, creating a containment environment that has significantly restricted the k!dn@pp£rs' movement.
The pressure is working. The t£rr0r!sts, initially demanding the release of detained Ansaru commanders Mahmud Usman 'Abu Bara'a' and Abubakar Abba 'Isah Adam' and likely a ransom payment, have now dropped most of their demands. They are reportedly now focused mainly on ransom negotiation a route I know the government will not take. This shift is a clear sign of desperation as the military noose tightens.
The reluctance to share this update is understandable. But perhaps we can use it wisely to remind Nigerians that our troops are advancing, to counter the narrative of helplessness, and to urge citizens to pray for the safe return of the victims and the success of our forces. The operation has not been without cost; soldiers have paid the ultimate price in this rescue mission, including a lieutenant. But our resolve remains unshaken.
🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬WE ARE WINNING AND NIGERIA WILL PREVAIL 🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬
When we came into office, we made a promise to Nigerians that food security would be a major pillar of our Renewed Hope agenda.
We promised to support our farmers, strengthen local production, reduce dependence on imports, and build an agricultural system strong enough to withstand shocks from beyond our borders.
That promise is being kept.
