You’re such a terrible liar. And that little “ask the people who are actually there” line makes it even more disgusting.
Ask WHO exactly? Your little social-media bubble? Go outside and ask ordinary Ethiopians who are actually paying the price of this government’s failures. Ask people struggling with the cost of living, unemployment and inequality. Ask communities affected by conflict and displacement. Then come back and lecture everyone about “reality.”
Every lie, every propaganda and every attempt to pretend everything is perfect is now a fake news in the public’s eye. You don’t get to control the narratives anymore and public distrust on you and your party is way worse than it has ever been.
@prosperity2022 is not Ethiopia. @AbiyAhmedAli is not Ethiopia. And people criticizing either of them are not enemies of Ethiopia. YOU ARE THE ENEMIES ACTUALLY!
You guys are done and you know it to well but we’re also cognizant of your ego for the past 8 years you’ve been in power. Praying hell for Prosperity and everyone in it.
Lol you of all people cannot claim to be moral! You unleashed hatred, discrimination, racism and violence on minorities and propagated it. You are exactly what racism stands for. As your clans say “Do good unto others, that good may return unto thee; for the measure thou givest shall be measured back unto thee.”
@elonmusk can we start with you changjng course then?
@wis_damian@kaszalotx_x Literally! Simply stupid people dont know this. Also, GDP growth without influence is solidly a loss in the current complicated geopolitical situation as well as the near future
Transactional foreign policy? Bold move.
In today’s multipolar world, especially with the #EuropeanUnion drowning in ideological dogma, transactional foreign policies will surely give #Ethiopia and similar countries a real edge, offering massive development opportunities over preachy alliances.
However, being brutally honest this hands @AbiyAhmedAli the keys to an unchecked and bigger authoritarian playground. This man already loves centralized control and more than oxygen.
The so called “flexible” diplomacy risks becoming cover for an already brewing dictatorship at home.

In a rapidly shifting global order, the release of Trump’s 2025 National Security Strategy raises a timely question for middle powers navigating pragmatism over ideology.
This opinion piece argues that the strategy’s transactional, interest-driven approach may open a promising horizon for Ethiopia, aligning closely with Addis Ababa’s evolving foreign policy and its strategic weight in the Horn of Africa. Rather than signaling disengagement, the NSS could recalibrate U.S.–Ethiopia relations around mutual benefit, autonomy, and calculated partnership.

On the latest episode of @AJHeadtoHead, @mehdirhasan sits down with Ethiopian politician Getachew Reda to discuss his complicated relationship with PM Abiy Ahmed and the war in Tigray. Out Thursday 27 November.
@GibsonLeea You can take the current university learning model to compare the scientific researches and advances public universities have achieved compared to private institutions. Perhaps, a good recommendation is to give some flexibility to private schools with effective quality control.
@GibsonLeea However, I sincerely believe that with the current profit seeking model of private school operation, government imposed curriculum do outscore the benefits in mathematical and scientific studies in the Ethiopian primary and secondary education sectors

We welcome the signing of a cessation of hostilities between the Government of Ethiopia and the Tigray People’s Liberation Front and commend the @_AfricanUnion for its extraordinary efforts to bring peace to northern Ethiopia.
Renewed fighting in #Ethiopia endangers the lives of millions of people already in great distress.
I call on both parties to start negotiations.
Ethiopia needs peace. Now. #Tigray
