Bryan J. Parker, 58, is charged with attempted aircraft piracy. Authorities said he crashed a Mustang through a locked airport gate and tried to board an occupied plane

Parker was highly intoxicated and nearly hit a taxiing aircraft

He was detained after a brief chase by airport operations and Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University security
