18 MONTHS LATER…

Today, I stand before the good people of Ede South with a heart full of gratitude, joy and renewed confidence as we celebrate the return of our Governor, His Excellency, Senator Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke to office.

For me personally, this moment goes beyond political celebration, it is a moment of vindication.

Despite court orders sacking the “APC YES/NO” chairmen, and even after their purported tenure ended in October 2025, they were still being aided by the Nigerian police to remain in office while Our Local Government Funds have also been withheld. We believe no lives should be lost over politics and I have also remain a peace-loving servant, just like my leader, Governor Ademola Adeleke.

As the duly elected PDP Chairman of Ede South Local Government, I have remained steadfast in my conviction that the mandate given to us by our people will not be erased by political disagreements or circumstances beyond our control.

Ede South remains united. Osun State remains one. The mandate has been renewed

It was a successful outing as usual, IMOLE TILL 2030 By God’s Grace.

I strongly condemn the coordinated attacks carried out by pro-APC political thugs in Ile-Ife, Ede, Osogbo and other parts of our state earlier today. No political ambition is worth the blood, pain, and suffering of innocent citizens.

I call on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu @officialABAT, the National Security Adviser @NuhuRibadu, the Inspector General of Police @TunjiDisu1, the @OfficialDSSNG, and other security authorities to urgently intervene and call Mr. Gboyega Oyetola @GboyegaOyetola and the APC candidate, Bola Oyebamiji @OyebamijiBola and everyone behind these provocations to order before they plunge our dear state into chaos.

After receiving reports of the attacks, I personally visited affected areas and met victims receiving treatment at the Osun State Teaching Hospital, Osogbo, and the Cottage Hospital, Ede. I also paid a solidarity visit to the Osogbo Accord Chairman who survived a gunshot attack last week.

I sympathize with all victims and their families. My administration will not abandon them in this difficult moment. I have directed security agencies to thoroughly investigate these incidents and ensure that every perpetrator, regardless of status or political affiliation, is brought to justice.

Political differences must never degenerate into violence, intimidation, or attacks on citizens exercising their constitutional rights. Democracy thrives on dialogue, tolerance, and respect for the rule of law.

I urge all residents to remain calm, peaceful, and law-abiding. Additional security measures are being activated across vulnerable locations, and my administration remains fully committed to protecting lives, property, and the peace of Osun State.

May God grant speedy recovery to the injured and continue to preserve the peace of our beloved state.

IMOLE ROAD SHOW : EDE HAS SPOKEN LOUD AND CLEAR

Yesterday, the great people of Ede came out in massive numbers for the IMOLE Road Show, and what was witnessed was far beyond a mere gathering, it was a bold declaration of love, loyalty, and unwavering support for Governor Adeleke and his people-first leadership.

The movement began from Cottage Junction, moving through Akoda down to Oke Gada, and what was planned as a road show quickly transformed into something extraordinary. Despite many arriving with their vehicles, the overwhelming love for IMOLE saw people step out and join the movement on foot, trekking with passion, unity, and purpose.

From Oke Gada, the procession continued back through Orita Alajue, down to Agip, and finally returned to Orita Cottage, spreading one powerful message across every street:
Ede stands solidly behind IMOLE!

The turnout was massive. The presence of the people spoke in volumes, and their voices were heard loud and clear. Let the opposition take note, Ede has spoken, and there is no going back!

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to all leaders who graced the event, especially the Majority Leader of the House, Akogun Babajide Kofoworola, alongside other notable figures who stood with the people.

Special commendation goes to the Executive Chairman of Ede South Local Government, Alh Hon. Lukman Afolabi Abere Soose for the excellent coordination of the program.
