@colligocritters Insects do be sentient though! it was recently proven that they can feel pain (why was it ever assumed that a living creature couldn’t feel pain? Who knows) which is the first step to being considered sentient :)
@bigkiitten I never understood why we assumed that fish/bugs/other animals can’t feel pain. Pain is literally the best survival tool we have. Being able to detect and react to negative/harmful stimuli kinda seems like the first thing that would evolve in creatures.
@lanabeesfw Except for yellow sac spiders. Them bitches are mean just to be mean. That’s okay though and I still love them despite their rude behavior.
This happened to a lifesaving HIV drug (Ritonavir) in the 90s. A single polymorph of the drug infected every last dose within months, making it completely ineffective and wiping the drug off the face of the planet.
@imminentdestiny Unfortunately you either have to sell your soul to the war machine, AI, or destroy your body via back breaking labor before age 35. Insurance is also an option, have fun denying live saving medical claims AND trying to sleep at night :)
